Hello everyone, im new to this forum and hopefully I can sort a problem I have with my Bobcat 631. Here we go: After a few years of rebuilding this machine over my spare weekends I have completed it!!. I finally started it three weeks ago and she was working fine. When I bought my machine it also had very jerky controls when the motor was above idle. I followed all the good advice on here for resolving the problem and did find some loose screws on the steering plate but couldn't get the controls to smooth out.
I have a 753 and when using the left side control, turning to the right or forward and reverse, at a slower speed( full throttle also) it has a jerky motion. But when using the right side controls everything is smooth like normal operation. #1. Howdy. When I increase engine revs above idle.to about 1250, the controls are super sensitive. I don't want to work it at idle. Is there any way to cut back on the sensitive ? Boom, Swing, Stick and Bucket. The tracks and blade are ok. If I could pinch back on something to slow them down a bit but keep the power, it sure would be nice !Typically, when you have the jerky movement that you describe it's caused by either one or both of the pintle arms are loose where they clamp to the drive pump control shafts. When they get loose the machine is hard to control in turns with one stick forward and other stick pulled back, kicks like a bucking bronco. #1. I recently purchased an older 753 serial# 508615824 The engine has only 1080h on it, but the machine was sitting for quiet a while. So I serviced everything, replaced hoses, the whole tlc. After all I tested the machine and it worked great, had to adjust the neutral a little and everything was fine. It seems to me that the bucket hydraulics can get very jerky and act to fast sometimes. Perhaps if you are trying to do something with finesse and feather something it just slams or moves way to fast.
