I'm hoping to pull the left side drive motor off this weekend. Looking at the parts list in the service manual, it appears there is a rebuild kit available? Has anyone done this rebuild? 1. Pull the front level plug and drain the chain case so no more oil comes out. 2. Place a log under the bucket and get the front wheels a several inches off the ground. 3. Remove one of the front wheels. 4. Remove the cover hiding the subject drive motor. 5. Clean the chassis and motor as well as feasible. 6. From my work on drive motors, it seems the that often just buying whole new motor is the better way to go. On my little Cases just replacing the output shaft seal and shaft to cure leaking there used to be more than half what a new motor was.
