jcb skid steer not getting fuel Have you checked the tightness of the alt belt, before taking the alt in to a shop, see if you can slip the fan, by hand, if so, belt is too loose, or glazed. As for the bogging down prob, I don't have a clue, if you have already checked the filters. My advice would be to get a shop manual for the motor. What motor does it have???

I have a jcb 260 skid steer that I foolishy let my excavator guy use. He ran it out of fuel and now it won't start. I tried to bleed the fuel at the filter then cracked all the injection lines at the injectors and cranked the engine but get no fuel at the injectors. Messed with it a little this morning barely getting foamy fuel at injector, but good . The fuel system's filters, fuel tank, glow plugs, and the engine's throttle cable . Messed with it a little this morning barely getting foamy fuel at injector, but good fuel at pump inlet. It’s 2013 a Delphi pump can’t figure it out. If I pump the filter housing I get nothing, if I crank the motor I get the little bit of fuel with bubbles.

I am measuring fuel pressure from the fuel rail pressure sensor using Servicemaster 4 diagnostic software, I have not verified the accuracy of the sensor. I do get fuel when an injector line is cracked and the engine cranked over. The fuel system's filters, fuel tank, glow plugs, and the engine's throttle cable can be the main culprits of the failure. Electrical System Failure; On skid steers, a number of electrical components, such as switches, sensors, and control modules, may go bad, causing a failure of the electrical system.
I have a 2016 John Deere 317g skid steer that is not shutting off when I turn the key off. A friend was running it and ended up disconnecting the fuel line from the fuel filter to get it to shut off. I know he should have choked it out by covering the air filter to get it to turn off, but this is where we are now. Are you running winter fuel? if not, it could have geled up so it's not making it to the pump. Even ice in the fuel filter could be the cause. A neighbor suggested looking at a JCB skid steer with a side door. I've never seen one but it looks like it would help in a one man operation that can not justify having a payloader around. Here's a link to some pictures.
One of the most common causes of a skid steer not starting is dirty fuel injectors. Fuel injectors assist in delivering fuel to the engine, and if not working properly they become clogged preventing your skid steer from starting up.
