I attached both Solenoids to my older Control valve, which now works perfectly. I believe the older Solenoids got wet due to a hydraulic leak and shorted out. I performed a continuity check before the purchase and both showed no continuity. The new Solenoids showed positive continuity, so I feel like I discovered the issue correctly with my .Hydraulic Control Valve Lock Out Solenoid for John Deere Skid Steer Loader(s) 5575, 6675, 7775, 8875, New Holland Skid Steer Loader(s) L140. Replaces John Deere OEM nos MG87030707, MG86575596, Replaces New Holland OEM nos 84151310, 86575596, 87030707. Have a 1987 New Holland L785. Have changed the hydraulic oil, two hydraulic filters, cleaned mesh screen on intake side of gear pump. Machine was working good and then all of a sudden boom no longer works. One of your solenoids is probably going bad. When you have the problem unplug one of the solenoids and restart your loader and see if the hydraulic function for the solenoid still plugged works. If not, then plug that one back in and unplug the other solenoid and restart your loader and see if the plugged in one works.
