I have a Case 435 skidloader in the shop that I need to tilt the cab forward to check out a starter problem and the cab is very heavy, hard to tip forward. I suspect bad gas struts, but there is no operators manual with the unit and I don't want to break something by using a hoist if there is something holding it. My 1990 843 has lift struts that help (a little). But basically you lift with both hands the cab as it pivots on pins in the back above the radiator. It will stay when all the way lifted, but will not stay with it lifted up 1 or 2 feet.
