Your flow isn't low . .. it's a little above average for regular flow . . . . . . Even at high flow, a hydraulically operated snow blower will be slow - especially in wet snow. Here, in our normally dryer snows, hydraulic snow blowers on skidsteers work, but are its much faster to use push blades or larger buckets.
My experience with a low flow snowblower in wet conditions was not good. I spent about as much time unplugging the shute as I did plowing snow and moving very slow to boot. Just my 2 cents.
As long as you don't rush up to the door pushing too much snow ahead of the blower faster than it can take it, there is a very small amount left behind. Our customers have been made well aware of the fact that we will be leaving a small amount of snow in front of the doors and beside parked vehicles, and they have no problem with that. Low flows work fine if your motors are sized correctly for your skid. You won’t get the volume or distance that a hi flow will produce, but they are fine for piles because you usually aren’t swinging for the bleachers in distance anyway.
Looking at a skid steer snow blower on an auction. Listed as high flow model. Would using it on a cat 262d low flow skid. Will this make make much difference other than not blowing as far? A blower has to chew its way thru deep snow but you can remove deep snow and place it far away. Blower can move 3-5 mph in lighter snow but plow or pusher can go 5-8 mph. If you have snow that stays for weeks, the blower is better. I'm wondering if I'm able to buy a snow blower for my 36 horsepower bobcat 743, I'm sure it is low flow, is there an option for me to have a snow blower on. If it is going to snow for a couple of days, it is much easier/faster to blow multiple times than to try to blow 18" in one pass. If you are in an area that gets a lot of snow in a short period of time, you may have to have a high flow attachment and enough horse power to run it.

I've looked at the S70 with a 48" blower, but I think the machine is a little small, even though Bobcat says the machine/blower is compatible as far as system flow rates. Do any of you have experience with the S100/SB150 (48") or S130/SB200 (60") setup with a blower?
