Problem often originated by moving machine without releasing red brake button. Resolution often requires removal/repair of cylinders and adjustment of brake pucks which is similar to old hand pull style .

Now for the adjustment. Remove the Goofy clip that holds the cyl. to the curved arm. now the curved arm should move around freely. Loosen jam nut and slide arm off the splines and reposition a few splines over the correct direction. you'll have to adjust the levers that attach to the brake shafts that come out chain cases. loosen the 1/4 bolt on the lever and slide it off and turn the brake shaft the direction the brake lever is applied. the brake shaft is splined. lift up the seat to do it. its tight but can be done. Basically it involves removing the parking brake operating lever from the shaft and rotating the lever on the shaft to the next spline. I have a New Holland LS 160 skid steer. The parking brake no longer holds the machine back, I am assuming it simply needs adjustment. Can anyone offer me an instruction on how to do this.
