I had my later model one do the same thing several years ago and I believe I turned a valve to by pass the oil to the motors. I don't remember how I did it .I don't know about a Gehl, but in the book for my OLD Bobcat 722, it tells you that to tow the loader, you are supposed to remove the side covers and unhook the drive chains. If i need to move it when its dead, I just go for the loader tractor to give it a lift into the shop.
